It is your lucky day, you stumble upon a lamp and when you rub it a genie appears. He grants you three wishes. Nothing more, nothing less. The conditions he puts are that you cannot ask for multiple wishes, you cannot ask for harming someone and you cannot ask for something that puts at risk anyone else.
What are the 3 wishes you would ask him?
I asked the same question to a lot of people and the variety of answers I got, left me contemplating how different yet alike everyone is.
The common wish that everyone had was to be able to spend time with their loved ones. The way everyone put it across was so different, yet interesting. The unique view that everyone has, leads to a common goal of not being alone.
Humans were designed to be social animals, but the sad reality is that no one wants to accept it. At one point in life, each and every one of us must have told, “I don’t need anybody, I am better off alone”, and that is the point when we need someone the most.
Why don’t we start telling people what we actually want to say and spend more time with the people that we care about, without letting our egos get in the way?
