A wandering mind needs a distraction that helps it focus on the essential things.
There are different things I listen to when working. Different moods or work require particular music, shows or movies. When the work is of high priority I listen to Mario music. The beats are catchy and make it easier to work. It pumps up the mind and the time taken for doing the work reduces by half.
When the work is slow or on a creative block I watch shows like Blacklist, Comicstaan or Sitcoms like Schitt’s Creek, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, or TBBT. I like relaxing my mind when I do not understand what to write by watching something funny.
